LED Wall Curtain – Twinkly Curtain or Matrix?
Twinkly Curtain will be a better LED wall curtain if you want a lightweight decoration, large surface area, and the ability to achieve warm white. Twinkly Matrix is worth choosing when lighting should work more like a pixel screen, display detailed animations, or integrate with a gaming setup.
Both products have the form of vertically hanging lines with LEDs and are app-controlled. However, they differ in point density, size, color profile, and intended use.
What Is an LED Wall Curtain?
A light curtain consists of a horizontal cable or bar and vertical sections with LEDs. When hung, it creates a larger surface of light than a regular single string.
You can place it:
- on an empty wall;
- behind a desk;
- by the bed;
- on curtains;
- in a window;
- behind the TV;
- in a gamer's room;
- as a photo background;
- in event spaces.
In the Twinkly system, light point placement can be mapped using a smartphone camera. The app assigns effects to the actual LED layout, so the light isn't limited to simple simultaneous blinking of the entire curtain.
